Hi all, been a bit hard to get any serious playing done while the builders are in knocking my kitchen about but I finished this about a week ago before they started.
Hope you enjoy.   Willie

Oh man, I've done that before, too. Having workers in / around the house really does a number on your stress level (at least for me).

You really brought the jangle to this one, Willie - here and there I got echoes of Gene Clark (if he stayed on with The Byrds), but of course it's got your signature style on it.

Nicely done!

To my ear this a bit Tom Petty vibe, anyway this is a well written and performed song. Enjoyable listening!

Just loving the vocal harmonies and guitar work on this one Willie. It really carries you along wrapped in a glorious swathe of jangly guitars. Very nice work as usual. Looking forward to more once the builders are gone.....

This is a beautiful song Willie. Love the jangle, smooth lead and perfect vocals.
2 thumbs up!👍👍

Man, you've got a real pro sound going here.  Performance, mix, balance all spot on.  Love the blend of acoustic and electric guitars.

Lyrics excellent as well.  Not surprising coming from you Willie, very well done.

Let it be known, there is a fountain, that was not made, by the hands of men.

I like this one a lot!
Reminiscent, I think, of early 90's jangle pop ... such as R.E.M.
Great job Willie!

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.
