Hey guys~ I hope you all get a kick out of this! 12 years ago my band recorded a CD at the local college~ The same college I attend now.  It was a project for Audio/Recording students...I was 16...the drummer was 12...the rhythm guitarist, 18 and the bass player, 19.  I haven't listened to this forever~ My voice has changed quite a bit since then lol...Pretty funny stuff....Hope you enjoy~

Oh, I had to drop the bit rate WAY down on this one and the poor quality is now even poorer....

I consider my recordings from 1997 to be recent.

I'd like to hear you re-record this now, with your new sensibilities and hindsight.

Wow ... a talented bunch of young people indeed!!! You had an amazing voice even then! 16???? wow ... And that 12-year drummer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW is that you doing the guitar solo???

You americans surely grow up fast ... when I was 16 my guitarskills were comparable with BAG's 5-year old daughter!

Great to hear some more from you Kody, always looking forward to hear your music  ... guess it's a busy time with exams  ?

Cheers

Thanks Geir!!  Exams are done...I'm done with school for this year~ I'm looking for a job....and I'm having a hard time with that! Yep, it's me on the solo lol....and the drummer, you should here him now!!  Actually we're all family: the bass player is my brother and the other two are my first cousins....My brother's actually mainly a drummer, and a darn good one, but we really needed a bass player haha!!~

Cool a multi-talented family you are!

Sounds like you played heavier stuff back then.  I can still recognize your unique vocal / voice - it has definitely matured!

It sounds like you can sing some metallica type tunes quite well too.  This song reminds of some metallica (like fade to black).

Great job! I agree with satchwood! Sounds a bit like fade to black!

And a tight as hell drummer for a 12 year old! Awesome!
If you loose track over a chord progression, play as fast as you possibly can. Nobody will know. Thats how they invented bebop.
