Well, Phil's gone and done it... the crews got to go into protection mode...

Smooth, groovy and jazzy. I like that organ sound and your guitar solos are played so well leaving space to breathe.
Great composition Mike.

I was expecting the title to make sense by the end of the song. But it's an instrumental, and nothing about it hints at any Phil I know. Wait. Yes! This is about setting up the Philippines native chicken farm!

Or maybe not.

Anyway, this is quite the slick and smooth production. The solos are very tasteful, and the mix is very clean. I'm curious how much of this was performed and how much of it was generated. The drums, bass, and hand percussion? I'm guessing canned. Although the bass does some flourishes that sound almost human.

Me too! I discovered this song at the right time. After decades of never liking that jazz organ sound (i.e. the first six decades of my life), I'm starting to warm up to it. In 2018 I still wasn't ready. It must be because I can now play organ on my guitar with a pedal I bought last year.

Have been a big fan of organ and organ trios for decades to this is right up my alley. Great post.

So smooth. Had me in the first measure. Love the structure and instrumentation.
The constant bass on the verses provides nice tension for the chords.
Excellent performance.
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.
