When You Get There
written & performed by Hook
Get where your going
when you get there

I gotta slow down
Where's the fire what's the hurry
All my views have gotten blurry
My head is spinning round

But I speed up
I'm in the front but I go faster
This could become a disaster
And I can't slow down

Moving freewheeling
Tires are squealing
My patience is growing thin

Get where you're going
When you get there

Now I turn on a dime
I'm in control and holding tightly
Make an impression running lightly
A Surprise you never saw

A rockin' tune Hook! I dig that velvety sound. Upbeat party feeling from underground...nice one!

The Orlando session have been busy busy and very entertaining for us songcrafter dudes.
Always great to hear a songcrafter so productive, and continuously pumping new blood into the veins of this site.
Brilliant mate.

Yes lots to like, for me the stand out is the catchy vocal especially when you hit the high notes!

Feel good, summertime tune! Good tones and love your vocals on this one. Definitely knocked this one out of the park.

Hard to believe these are ukes on here, sounds like these are guitars (although the solo gives it away a bit). Got a kind of Jonathan Richman feel going here, really enjoyed this one and it sounds like a more positive end to the Oralando sessions. Good work all round.
