One for Tommy, Yamaha keyboard and 3 guitar tracks, the solo in the middle was going to be harmonica but I can't find the right Key ;D
So if any wants to add harmonica please feel free.

Only Our Rivers Run Free
Michael McConnell

When apples still grow in November
When Blossoms still bloom from each tree
When leaves are still green in December
It's then that our land will be free
I wander her hills and her valleys
And still through my sorrow I see
A land that has never known freedom
And only her rivers run free

I drink to the death of her manhood
Those men who'd rather have died
Than to live in the cold chains of bondage
To bring back their rights were denied
Oh where are you now when we need you
What burns where the flame used to be
Are ye gone like the snows of last winter
And will only our rivers run free?

How sweet is life but we're crying
How mellow the wine but it's dry
How fragrant the rose but it's dying
How gentle the breeze but it sighs
What good is in youth when it's ageing
What joy is in eyes that can't see
When there's sorrow in sunshine and flowers
And still only our rivers run free]

wowI did not remember how your voice was great, dear Alex
I especially like the slow tremolo and the little "stalls" (I do not know how to call this voice effect)

great song also

Alex if you can give the chords for the solo  may be I can try to do with harmonica, or low wisthle D, or Weissenborn ;)
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Yep, agreed. Tommy would approve i am sure. This is perfect for the fest, for some reason i can picture a melacholy moment in a pub on Patricks Day, everyone the worse for wear, but everyone goes strangely quiet and when this is played. Well done Alex, great stuff!
