I had to grab Nigel's (Ferryman_1957) awesome Funkyish Twelve Bar New Mix bass track and lay down my own satched-up blues playing.  This was great fun.

So I jammed last night with three of my friends: me, myself, & I (Nigel was in the little box)

me - played the funky rhythm guitar
myself - played some subdued lead stuff
I - played some satched-up leads
Nigel - played the stellar bass & drums

I hope you don't mind me posting something like this, but I had a blast - I hope you enjoy the jam session as well - it really gets going around 30 sec into the tune...

Thanks again Nigel for sharing your awesome Bass & Drum set with us!

Ma, my head is gonna explode.  Great satched-up playing.  Really great.  I am going to have to try something over this, maybe tonight, great backer.

My head just exploded! I love this one as well Satchwood, that's well over the top playing and I just love that echo guitar. Really takes this away from straight twelve bar territory as well. Glad folks are enjoying the backer! The idea is just take it and see what you can do, so far there's been two great interpretations. Very cool indeed!!!

Cheers,

Nigel

I like the echo guitar in there too - maybe I should rename this rendition to Crazy-Satched-up-Funkadelic-Bluez...  Hey, after your done picking up the pieces of your cranium, create some more way-cool bass/drum lines for us bass-less guitar players  ;D

I'm sure you'll get quite a few more renditions to your fine work - I had extreme fun jamming to it!

Well, I'm working on a "proper" blues in Cm. Did the drums on my Alesis last night, turned it on today to check them and found I hadn't saved the song. Doh! So hopefully by the weekend we'll have something, with some horns as well (48 wanted a Harry blues and Harry wants to play!).

Cheers,

Nigel

Oh well ........

Thanks Geir!  I did expend some high-flyin energy on this one - although a bit sloppy - I'd like to clean it up a bit.

I thought your version was superb - crisp and clean!  Of course your vocals really captures the mood as well.

Wow Satch This was great. See what 48 inspired.   Wasn't at all what I expected to hear.  But absolutely magnificent. Made me want to ahh Never mind.  LOL Just magnificent collab.

OK WHERE is Geirs version.  I've looked through the posts.  And don't seem to be able to find it. Am I missing something?
