Jim Rodford was the bass guitarist for The Kinks from 1978 until they disbanded in 1996. He played and sang on Kinks classics such as "(Wish I Could Fly Like) Superman", "Low Budget", "Come Dancing", "Don't Forget to Dance", and "Living on a Thin Line". He was also a founding member of Argent (and cousin of Rod Argent), and played with The Zombies and The Swinging Blue Jeans.
