To mark the (for me at least) major event of the passing of the last of the three members of Motorhead (in their golden era), I did this this morning.  Just me and the uke, which is as far as I seem to get nowadays.

Rest easy, the whole of Motorhead.

Stone dead forever.

This is excellent Nick,I love those bends on the uke.
I've just been given a uke but can't get it together at all.
Fingers are too big and clumsy.
Great uke playing and crystal clear lyrics/vocals.
Well done.

Great tribute Nick - another hero of our youth gone !

(Nick, I was wondering how easy is it to pick up the uke after years of playing guitar? As I've been banned from buying any more guitars, been tempted to buy a Uke. Could leave it in the car and practice when I'm stuck in traffic to and from work !)

After I got mine I didn't touch it for ages as the tuning seemed so alien but then I had a penny-drop moment;  if you take away the two fat strings of a six string guitar, put a capo at the fifth fret then you have ukulele tuning, albeit with the lowest string swapped for one an octave higher.  Now I play everything like I'm just playing the top four strings on a normally tuned guitar.
