Inside Out

Here's a new acoustic song recorded with the BR800 as the interface to Sonar Cakewalk (first attempt).  It's a song about addiction.   Feedback, advice always welcome.

Silent screams, empty space, starless sky
 Molten lava coursing through my veins.
 All that crashed upon the rocks, washed on shore,
 Reasons unexplained.

Rumblings of the past whisper in my ear,
Devil does a dance with a promise in his hand.
The road I travel is the one seldom paved in gold,
And I don't understand.

 Save,  what you find left of me,
 From this altered state of my reality,
 I,     see no escape from here,           
While the wolf waits at the door.

Turn me upside down, turn me inside out,
Prophecies upon on graffiti walls,
Songs of Siren's lure me towards a mystic place,
Will I heed the call?

 Staring at a fork in the road
 Unsure of which way to go,
 Time is my currency, sensing the urgency, now.
