This is for the Pub Rock Fest.

So I looked through the list and did a bit of research on this band. Seems like they are one of the founders of the Pub Rock movement (I didn't realise it was a recognised musical movement as such).

Anyway, this took a while to put together. Aside from my musical limitations I was having problems tuning properly. I am convinced the Software Bass in Garageband was a fraction out as I tried retuning my guitar many times. I guess this is most likely impossible... a bad workman blames his tools... ha ha!! Anyway I changed the actual sound on the guitar to a more rocky/fuzzy tone to the cleaner tone i originally wanted... seemed to help a bit.

  This made my morning with the first cup of java Mike this has it all with a catchy hook.  In the pocket rhythm, cool sound guitars and nice vocals. Great Job!

I'd never heard of this band either - interesting to read up on their history. A US band which came over to the UK and were pioneers of "pub rock".

Great recording Mike - love the guitar tones and vocal. Definitely has a country vibe to it.
