Wow Alfredo - Is this all you????
That's some incredible jazz playing.
I had to pause the track and put on a beret and black turtleneck just to feel worthy of listening.

Seriously though - well done.
Sounds fantastic.
It ain't pretty being easy.

Okay to Cover

Thanks Hilary, but seriously, from June till September it's impossible for me to play anything, due to the heat. Air conditioning helps but...

More songs to come soon...  ;)

Thank you!

No, it's not everything by me.
In detail:
drums, organ and bass are from BIAB.
Horns and saxes are "phragments" of BIAB tracks that I have "taylored" on a DAW
Vibes is a Kontakt VST instrument triggered by the chain: Godin Freeway SA-> Boss GP-10-> Mac
Guitars: main theme: Yamaha SA2200; solo: Fender American Deluxe Strat, in both cases via Kemper

Thank you all for your kind comments!

 :)

The masterful thing about this is how subtle you keep all of the hard work you did. Your hardest work (I assume) is low in the mix, so that the guitar can shine. This is wonderful.

I was about to comment on how good the horns sounded, and then I saw this:

What!? Those vibes are triggered by a guitar? They sound so good and natural – the way they sustain as you arpeggio. I mean, I didn't think you played an actual vibraphone, but I figured it was a MIDI keyboard.

Last thing I'll say is that, after living in Arizona for most of my life, I'm really over Kokopelli. He is basically the Hopi version of the stork that delivers babies – but a little more devious, perhaps a dash of Scrooge McDuck. This bit of Hopi culture is in every truck stop, souvenir shop, painted (unironically) on freeways. T Shirts, keychains, nail clippers, butt plugs (probably).  Camp Verde, Arizona is nothing but two strip malls facing each other off from opposite sides of the road. But the strip mall on the north side has a Starbucks and a 32-foot tall Kokopelli made of painted sheet metal ("world's largest" but still shorter than the Starbucks sign.). Kokopelli is the Ryan Reynolds of overexposed and exploited Hopi deities. I wasn't completely AWOL from the site in October of 2017. There's a chance that I saw this posted to the site, and based on the title said to myself, "No fucking way I'm going to listen to that."

So: Sorry. Should have listened to this five years ago. But I have Kokopelli issues.
