My latest effort. I was stuck for ideas & everything I tried sounded like something I'd already done. In these situations I usually end up thinking "Sod it... Jam some blues". However, this time I thought I'd google the term "exotic scales" & see if that led anywhere... and it did :)

As ever, the hardest bit was coming up with a title. In the end, because of the Arabic overtones, I chose to name it after the female story teller in The Arabian Nights.

You can watch me as I write this tune here: https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=27357.msg329449;topicseen#new

And here's the end result...

Cheers guys :)

You rock Johnny!  Well done man.

Whatever trouble you were having getting started, you sure got over it.

Great original piece of music.  Excellect producing, as well as songwriting.

Very impressive.

What a great sound John, I listened to this last night and am back for more this morning.
I just love the Arabic style,
I spent some years over there and the music was one of the few things I really liked,
Well done my friend.

I have said this before, but it's amazing how you can play (and compose) your lead guitar so imaginatively!

Really nice mix with different styles!

Thanks chaps! This one is going to be on the next album I put out, entitled "Handles For Forks". Anyone who's a fan of classic Brit comedy will know what I'm referring to :)

I did watch your video and it was very interesting to see how you build composition. And the end result is magnificent! Great guitar work too. Great sounds.

This is fabulous. The guitars have so much depth and power, and the exotic scale automatically transports the listener to bazaars, deserts and Fry's Turkish Delight ;-)

Some truly spectacular soaring guitar parts and intricate soloing.

Superb.
