Features Fender Japanese Tele, Tanglewood ASM acoustic, Fender Mexican Precision Bass and vocals, plus Garageband drums and pianos. Recorded and mixed on the MBR with a little post-production 'swirl' and reverse cymbals added in Audacity.

It's just a chorus really!  :D ::)

'Everything'

Winter's coming
the geese are leaving
for warmer climates
and leaving me behind
give me touch
and seratonin
give me a hacksaw
to cut the rusty pipes
from my mind

all my love
all my destiny
all my blood
all my mystery
all my rain
all my empathy
all my heart
all my everything

catching the train
from hangover central
i need to kick
this bottle into touch
just like the foxes
in the railway sidings
you can help me learn
to live upon my wits and luck

with

all my love
all my destiny
all my blood
all my mystery
all my rain
all my empathy
all my heart
all my everything

Oh here we go!

Listening on my phone...

Hardly just a chorus. Full of wonderful Greeny lyrical imagery, and super, super music. I love the arrangement, lush and broad, the piano fits in there so well. You just sing your life don't you?

Are these the MBR drums? I know you're the MBR Drum king - but these are exceptional

That's going into my personal playlist - Thanks Tim. Why you are not signed I will never know.

Cheers Mike :-)

It's Garageband drums - the virtual drummer ones. I've been using them for almost two years now? (it feels like ages...). The last time I tried to use the MBR ones I couldn't remember how they worked!

Normally I really like doing the drum track, but this was an absolute bastard: the bit where the verse meets the chorus involves a half step / half measure that doesn't fit into a normal whole step rhythm set-up like Garageband. I had to split the bridge chord and beat across two measures. I'm not explaining it very well, but it almost drove me mad.

This was one occasion where a machines didn't 'get it'.

Would love to do this one live with a proper human band.

It's the time signature change - not your average 4/4

I'd love to play this and others live with you mate, I know that there's a drummer, a guitarist and a puppy who feel the same.

Another winner, Tim!

Everything is on the right place here. Loved the "dialogue" between piano and lead guitar, that works really well!

The chorus is so catchy and beautiful!

I'm glad you're posting songs again!
