Jemima's Kite have been rather absent recently for one reason or another. Too much to go into right now, however, this was an idea that Tim popped out, James picked up, Geir and Jarle embellished and I stuck a bit of subsonic twiddling on.

Democracy is a funny thing - it should not be permitted within certain situations, certainly when people do not have all of the facts. Mixing and mastering is not a thing that lends itself to democracy so I have declared the republic and I have taken charge of the process and here is the result.

Sweet Isolation - Jemima's Kite:

Tim Green, Guitars, backing vocals and Percussion
James Higgins, Lead vocal, Backing vocals and Juno DI
Geir Alfsen, Lead Guitar and Electric Piano
Jarle Alfsen, Drums
Mike Fife , Chapman Stick, Mixing and Mastering.
Bitterness and deprivation
We pay the price for
Sweet isolation
Logic has no correlation
With our desire for
Sweet isolation
Run the flag back up the pole
Harken back to days of yore
When we ruled the seven seas
And we could do just as we pleased
You don't need rules
Playing games of
Sweet isolation
You need no friends
When you have
Sweet isolation
Run the flag back up the pole
Harken back to days of yore
When we ruled the seven seas
And we could do just as we pleased
Run the flag back up the pole
Harken back to days of yore
When we ruled the seven seas
And we could do just as we pleased
Sweet isolation

Jemima's Kite rules the airways again! Very good song and performances by all. Jim's vox sets the mood of isolation. Good guitar strumming and backing vox Tim. Some fine drums Jarle. A perfect lead style for the song Geir.  A good mix Mike and that Chapman stick puts the low end way down there. Nice work Jemima's Kite!

Listened to this earlier. Super collab to all. Great vocals and harmonies, super guitar playing - and as for the stick, where to start on that thing - sounds great.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.
