Hi Folks,

Its been a while since I dropped off a song here. This is one of my favourite Elvis songs. His vocal range is better than mine, so I had to stretch a lot to cover it. But it was fun to do.

The song was recorded using the BR800 as the audio interface into Sonar Platinum. There are lots of tracks but the area I had the most fun with was the horn section. At times they are playing the same note but at others they are playing a chord. I enjoyed working out the notes and hearing how they blended. It is quite effective at times. I may have even accidentally created some inversions. The horns (trumpet, sax and trombone) are all Sonar soft synth samples.

I hope you like it.

Ian

Can't say I know this one, but it's a cracking sound you've got going on here. Superb vocal... just brilliant!

Not an EC song I'm familiar with, but I am digging the arrangement of instruments and vocals. Nicely done, Ian!

Not a sing I'd heard before as I like EC's earlier stuff. Checked the original out and yes, you've covered it well. Nice playing & vocals !
