Great cover Willie - not heard that for a while but I remember it well from 1976 and it brings back fond memories of a special year for me. Nice guitar playing and vocals - enjoyed it !

I can't say I know this song Willie but I can say I know good music, performances and recordings when I hear them. This is excellent on all accounts!

Nice job Willie. I've always loved that song too. And, like Pete, 1976 was a special year for me.

I was just watching a video of Sutherland Brothers and Quiver performing the song and I wondered what kind of guitar Tim Renwick was playing. I've never seen anything like it before. It looks great!

After a lot of web-searching, I discovered that it was made by Mørch Guitars of Denmark.

I've never heard of them before but I really like that guitar.

A great song and a very fine cover. Lots of nice touches: the lead guitar part is sublime, the bass anchors it all down, and you even do a key change (they terrify me!). Lush and lovely.

Excellent.

Fine cover Willie.  Takes me back too.  I have played this in a covers band or two as well.

Hook

I hadn't heard this song before, either. But I dig your version, Willie - really like your vocals here, and the mix of guitars and synth pad sounds really smooth.
