Boss has teamed up with Swedish guitar maker Strandberg to produce this new V-Guitar. It's kinda cool but the price is ridiculous. As far as I can tell from my limited searching, it will be ¢4,500 which translates to £4,115.71 or $5,420.39 US at today's exchange rate. And it will only be available for a very short time. So, sadly, it seems that Boss is aiming this product at collectors/investors and billionaires. Also, there's no GK-compatible connector, just a standard ¼" guitar jack. I can't understand why they'd put a GK pickup on this guitar and not provide any means to connect it to external GK synths.

Interesting, but I always thought of fanned frets being more "exaggerated" than parallel frets. like this:

...or is that only on instruments with more than 6 strings?

The biggest disconnect for me is that hat. I keep expecting Eric Church (country singer) rather than cool, guitar chop demo player.

That was a cool sounding song, and I like the switching between sounds and tones, but who would use that thing?

The musician playing it is excellent. The tone of the instrument is good but no better than what we are already achieving with instruments that cost nowhere near what is being asked for this one.

My take on it: A ripoff marketed by greedy people.

Avoid it like it had aids, ebola, cancer, spinal bifida and a short dick.

This is the guitar you really want.

64Guitars, I think that if the manufacturer had added the feature to connect the GK pickup to a GK synth, it would have added $1,000.00 to the cost of the instrument. After all, it might require two or three more wires and a forty dollar circuit board.

While on the subject of ripping off the customers, Apple's latest iPhone will set you back $1000.00 dollars US. This from a company already worth approximately 900 million dollars. Tim Cook does look rather under-nourished. Guess he's not making enough money to afford junk food.

I think the sound module is built in possibly-which would make it a bit limited
