I feel fortunate to have found a compadre like John (Lurker), a great singer who not only tolerates my eccentricities but may actually encourage them at times (much to the chagrin of his wife). At least that's the way I perceive it.

I had a chance tonight to listen back to a show from a few months back. We had to get from one loop ("You Can't Resist It" by Lyle Lovett) to another in a medley. Since this couldn't be done seamlessly, I remember turning to John and saying, "No matter what happens, do not stop playing [on the iPad]." We ended up with the bizarre ambient interlude that is part Animoog app and part processed guitar volume swells before heading into The Grateful Dead's "Dark Star."

I know this won't be everybody's cup of tea, but moments like this sum up what I dig about playing (very loosely scripted yet somehow landing on somewhat solid ground).

Live at the local pub. Recorded from the board into a Tascam recorder. Futzed with in Audio Cleaning Lab by Magix.

Peace.

Hats off guys for even trying out stuff like this. Very brave in a live environment. It sounds great, very way out there... very much my cup of tea. I would imagine listening to this whilst having a smoke of something or other, could be quite mind bending. But a cup of tea would be my my preference  ;D. But I digress... this is great guys!

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Lyle Lovet seems to be a classy musician and singer, refined and
"distinctive voice, easygoing charisma, rare talent for wordplay"

listen for example
