Here's a Byrds Festival entry. They only covered it so not sure if it qualifies as its written by Bob Dylan...

Anyway...

2 rhythm Guitar tracks panned left and right
1 slide guitar track
1 software bass programmed in garageband
1 drum track programmed in garageband
1 vocal using v cheap Samson mic (about 15 or 20 euros)

rhythm guitar part and vocal played live, mainly to try to improve my skills

edit: have removed drums as couldn't get them in the mix properly

Going through the ByrdsFest jukebox and realized I hadn't commented yet - sounds great Mike, and I really dig the rhythm and slide here.

A fine cover Mike! Even singing in the lower register you manage to keep the Dylan/Byrds vibe alive...that's cool! Some good guitar and slide. When I have problems with drums I just throw in some hand percussion to fill the void. But you don't have any voids here so dropping the drums worked out well!

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

A very nice cover, a full sound considering there's no percussion and the slide is icing on the cake. Excellent.   Willie
