one for the past fest revisited. Frank Black was on the Singer Songwriter 2 fest.

Update: Had to run earlier, used garage and for this and took about a week to work out the song structure etc.(still got it wrong). Transferred audio from garage band to my br800 then recorded two mono vocals using my microbr. Struggled to get it to swing and it feels a bit stiff, but has been a good learning experience.

Anyway it is what it is.

I don't know the original song, but I like this a lot! It's good to stretch your muscles in this way - it's definitely got the Frank Black vibe to it.

Well done, James.

This brought my antennas up and damn near tears to my eyes - I remember the days when I listened to Teenager of the Year end to end perpetually. Good memories mostly.

I think you did a great job and were able to cover it with stupendous style James!!!

I'm impressed, very cool!!!!

At the part where I sing, "I don't know " Despite all efforts couldn't work out the chords for that part of the song, hence my emphasis on that lyric as it was so true. Lol.

And mark, like you I had teenager of the year on repeat back in the day too. And every now and again I dig it out of the cd rack for a spin.

It was Doolittle for me...great job on this one. Your really using GB to its fullest and it's broaden your productions something serious.
Rock on!

Well played,   I like the harmonies of this song

Great job, really enjoyed that.  And I do like these fuller productions you're getting nowadays.  Seems like the fuller productions are bringing out fuller vocal performances too.
