Thanks, you is too kind! For a number of personal reasons (that I don't want to get into here) I was seriously on the verge of throwing my musical towel in for good a while back there (as in: "What's the fookin' point?!") BUT I appear to have bounced back (this being one of the recordings I'm attempting to bounce back with!) Your kind words have in some way confirmed that I may have made the right decision ie: to keep on making my music albeit in the face of adversity/obscurity! Again, thanks so much - without you perhaps realising, your kind comments here have meant a lot. CHEERS!!!  ;D

You have so much more to do!!! Don't throw in the towel dude. Believe it or not your music inspires us to keep going to... well for me it has anyhow. I've always loved your tunes... they are legit. Keep your chin up... maybe try a different marketing approach.... You will get there I know it!!!

REALLY? I wasn't aware I was an inspiration to/for anyone (I have VERY low self-esteem/faith in myself!) At the beginning of the year I systematically began to sell off all my gear in order to 'find something else' to fill my 'spare' time (I toyed with hang-gliding for a while.) but then my poor, long suffering partner intervened by saying: 'Don't Give UP!' I was going to write a song about it but a certain Mr Gabriel pipped me to the post on that one (about 30 odd years ago!)

Fortunately I'd kept my trusty recorder (a BOSS BR1600CD - I was literally 'THIS' far away from selling it!) plus my battered old acoustic (I'd never sell that!) And so, with a newfound spring in my step (which coincidentally corresponded with the season we were in namely, err, 'Spring'!) I happened to stumble across ... A CELLO! Now I'd never played a cello before but it was a total steal so I thought: 'What the hell, let's give that a go!" and ... well, that's where I'm at right now! Trying (and mostly failing) to teach myself the cello! My current gear (or lack of it!) is dictating what I can (and can't!) do musically but I'm kind of liking this stripped back, acoustic vibe - it suits where I'm at right now (and, dare I say it, I may have finally even 'found my sound'. Hmm ... I dunno! Only time will tell I guess).

As for the whole marketing side of things, don't get me started! I'm just really, REALLY crap at that but I don't care  so much anymore. I'm just gonna stick with making the music from here on in! In fact, thinking about it, it was actually the whole marketing side of things that ALMOST made me give up - I seemingly can't multi-task either. Nowadays I'm purely in it for .... 'THE MUSIC!' If anything else were to come of it then sure yeah, that would be great but, I'm not gonna beat myself up about it. Hey, 'It's ONLY rock'n'roll ... but I like it!' (To quote a phrase!) THANKS AGAIN! 'Tis good to get this off my chest and move forward ;-)

Another winner, Paul!

Cool acoustic indie stuff! Nice tones - you're a pro with your BR-1600!

Don't you dare throw the towel! You are a talented songwriter! I like your tune, the guitar, and the singing style. It sounds a little fragile in a very good way (i.e. it has character).

I'm glad I fell upon this song through listening to your other stuff on the site.
Reading the comments I was horrified to learn you thought of giving up.
Keep chiseling away at that song mountain bro because inside it there is that little gem waiting to be brought into the surface ,it may take a while but the journey will unearth a few interesting finds along the way that you can share with us all.
Music is a gift and realy can't be stopped, you can sell all the gear you want but it will always be in your head fighting to get out.
Keep digging mate,we believe in you.
