& perhaps profound

something sentimental
so very fragile
has scattered in the wind
something important
that had meaning for the world
has bid us adieu

Loved it, Hook - and this is the kind of song I usually prefer: one that brings about an emotional connection in the listener, and with the possibility of unique interpretations depending upon who's listening.
