Edit June 14: new version

I was so inspired by Saijinn Maas' "Sara Smile" from the MicroBR forum, I had to add some synth. Not to say the song wasn't already very complete; I tried to keep it down to a minimum. Hope you like it! ;D

I just really enjoy experimenting with the guitar synth to someone else's backing track; when I do it to my own guitar playing, I always seem to end up doubling the guitar notes with synth sounds. ::) This form of collaboration forces a different style.

Well that's what happens when you mix down immediately after recording (and smoking another fat j*inT) late at night; it was all a bit too subtle. Really really glad you like it anyway! Here's a more dynamic mix ( V2.2 :P ):

Like the addition of keys a lot... this song is filling out nicely. I'll take this version for some vocals... well, for a vocal attempt. Can't promise anything good will emerge!!!

Then it'll just be bass...

I  love this song. Nice chords nice productions tasty licks.
A bass is needed.
Tho I've played guitar for 50 years, I'm a newbie bass player (Just got a fender P-Bass off Craig's list for $150 for laying my own trax) so I'll send the track by itself to Saijinn for mixing in if he likes it.

Must be my cheap-o head phones.  If there's bass in there already, then it needs an increase in volume - or I just need to go buy some "real" headphones...

Great job!  I enjoyed listening again!

Great stuff, and yes the bass is pretty low in the mix. I can only just hear it on good quality headphones. But a great collaboration, the guitar synth is a nice addition.

Cheers,
