Does anyone have any experience or advice with this Guitar Synth?

I have a line on a used one with the pickup and installed on a lower model Strat.
I have looked at GR20's before and wondered which of the gr's are best 20, 30, 33, or 55.
or if there are issues with any.

Thanks

Great guitar synth.

I've had it for several years, then I've sold it last year. The sounds are really great. Not as versatile as the new Gr-55, but the factory sounds in most cases are better.

I've used the GR-20 since its inception and am totally happy with it.

If you can afford it, get the GR-55. Nice.

Right next to my mashed potatoes.

I have one but rarely use it. I need to start using the midi out to my DAW. That has some cool possibilities.

Blooby, one of the setups I've used on live gigs is to use the Digitech Studio 400's four
low impedance outputs to send a signal to each side of two stereo amps in my one of my racks.
Each output from the amps is then sent to a single 2X12 cabinet.
I program each of the four output channels to use a different set of effects.

I also send a signal into the 5150 head which drives two cabinets. This amp has no effects assigned to it.
It's like five guitarists playing together in real time. The sound sent to the audience is awesome.

I only use this setup for the big gigs, and when all that power-sucking gear is NOT plugged into my home
electrical supply.

I've amassed a lot of nice toys over the years.

GR20 is quite nice having Midi out - however, as I understand it, GR-55 is the far newer model, and tracks better...... apparently. I have the Gr-20 and use it every now and then, and it is good
