I am sure I am not alone in using backing tracks all the time to improve my skills.....
Most downloaded trax have some sort of rhythm as well as drum and bass... :'(
most of us guitarists can manage to add rhythm guitar and a bit of lead.......

So I am asking nay begging for some talented soul to take pity on a poor guitarist and lay down a couple of Drum and Bass Blues tracks (one fast and one slow)

Bear in mind these are not just for a one off project a lot of us would use them all the time for practicing different Rhythm and Lead work..... 8) 8) 8)

Having said that I could see another festival of vox and guitar( not forgetting Horny Harry ;D) using the drum and bass tracks as the base.......(just think of the Glory ;D)

Just my thinking Mike, it would be good to get several of the bassists to create a foundation for a future blues fest. Or a whatever fest. I've never played any blues bass but I will try to give it a go as I am in a real funk over a new song I am working on (and getting a bit depressed). If I get time, I will give it a go.

Cheers,

Nigel

Good Idea,  I will give it some thought.  But really haven't played a lot of blues.

How about a funk-fest  ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D That would be fun ...

No ... well yes ... that too ... Funk/blues/rock'n'roll/jazz??  whatever .... let's have a variety of backers ready (not to complex ... must be able to make some vox and lay down some licks/solo without too much trouble) ....

Hey 48, you might consider getting this:

These tracks are full-length blues songs with a really hot band, but without solos or vocals.  Listen to the samples if you need convincing.

You can rip these to MP3s and then put them on your MBR.

Hey mike here are some dynamite blues backers, played by real musicians.  The files are kinda big but they sound real good.

Thanks for the replies..I have approx 200 Blues related Backers already :D
But very few are just Drums and Bass........
Also I think it would be really cool to have a few home grown for us all to use.........

So I am still begging you guys who have the skills to help us out

Regarding Festivals... I am already working on a Summer "Rock and Roll" Roadshow
from Rockabilly to hard Rock ;D ;D

I agree with you on that one Mike! It's more fun if it's a complete BR collab !!
