can you name it?

Pedro

Mr. Scar, hello there! Long time no see...

Well, do you want a name for the song? Estranhas memórias

It's portuguese for Strange Memories.  :D I'm not the best when it comes to naming songs.

It's a nice song, very smooth and with a cool stoned feeling but also mysterious!

guitarron

That's a very nice tune-
i'd would suggest backing the drums off a bit

that's a good one Pedro I'll use it if Mr Scar doesn't

Yes, the drums are a bit loud but I think it fits the song. I think this song needs a strong and accurate rhythm section.

I wonder what a person whose mother language is english thinks about when he reads Estranhas Memórias.

Mr. Scar

I like that Admin, Strange Memories...makes me think of Erroll Garner and Karen Carpenter drinking mushroom tea together.

It's a tune of found in an old jazz book, very strange....both the melody and the chords are rearranged. I think the original was a AABA form, while this one is just 16 bars repeat

I'll play some notes from the original, well known melody....How many notes will it take you to Name That Tune!?

guitarron

It's mysterious sounding (but thats probably -because- its a different language)

I don't really know what is it. Only the melody is well known? The chord progression is not from the original song right?
