How I met my wife....

The Chef and the China Doll

They met on the porch of a centuries old house
That had seen its share of dates
They came together to work and play
A restaurant kitchen awaits

They worked together and soon became friends
Having fun and creating too
They cooked together and shared a love
That grew from a love of food

Framed in silk and lace
He wore white and grew a beard
And called his love Doll Face

Then one day while walking on a beach
He asked her to be his wife
They both knew the time had come
To be together and share a life

As time went by their love grew stronger
Then suddenly he became ill
She kept her promise and stayed with him
Today, she stays with him still
