For those who don't know, these are "Clangers".......

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTyjBUoCnKM

This is a soup dragon..... with a clanger.

Here are the Clangers getting wasted.....

The show is quite deep and meaningful.....!

Kai has a cold and couldn't come out and play today.

This is what happens if you leave me alone with a Guitar, a Microphone, some vintage Children's television and an MBR (Kindly fixed by ORH).

"I wonder what kind of music the clangers would be making today.......?" I thought....

The only loop is provide at the beginning by Vernon Elliot, and there is also a kind but unauthorized contribution by Oliver Postgate throughout this production. Otherwise it's all guitar with BR effects.

I did have some Clangers on standby for the "Clanger-rap" though.....

No Clanger noises were sampled or looped.

No Clanger was harmed in the making of this track.

Peace

T (Osckilo)

LOL!! I love the ending sample "who knows where this expensive rubbish will ultimately arrive" - I resemble that remark! Great fun, I wouldn't have minded if you'd squashed a few Clangers. Even for a bit of fun, you've still got a production job going on there.

Can you do a follow up based on Noggin the Nog?

Cheers,

Nigel

This is way too good for 'just a bit of fun'. I'm very much in favour of 'nostalgia meets experimental' work like this. It's another off-the-wall beauty - love it! There's a strange melancholic beauty to those Clanger sounds... and they really sound like they're echoing in deep space.

I'm with Ferryman... Noggin the Nog is dying out for a remix. I've been harbouring some ideas for The Singing Ringing tree too, but they videos keep getting pulled from YouTube for copyright reasons.

What are you going to come up with next? I expect the unexpected!  :)

I love the Clangers...This really has me smiling a great Post 8) :) :)
Are you getting your "Heavy" Head on for "The revenge of the Soup Dragon" ;D
