Fascinating, Farrell! My mother got into doing the family tree when she was still alive & she would have been doing this test for sure. Back then, the best she could do was visit the main library & pore over a microfiche machine for hours on end. Now you can take a DNA sample, send it off & it tells you where your ancestors hailed from. Amazing!
