This song came about after Johnny posted an instrumental and in that instrumental somewhere I could hear an idea for another song.
This is the 1st song recorded using my new gear the focusrite ipad docking system and Auria pro.
I'm really happy how the clarity of the vocal came out and as usual working with Robs backer was excellent.
The lead guitar is outstanding but I also love his bass playing on this.
It gave me a good platform to get into the new system.
I added piano and strings and done the lyrics.
Its early days but so far I'm really impressed by its usability.
Hope you guys like it

Beautiful stuff chaps.  A fine ballad.  If I had a lighter I'd be waving it in the air!   ;)

You're right, the vox are really crispy clear.  Talking of crispy, the clean guitar solo is pure class.

A ballad at its best - very melodic and beautiful!

Kenny's voice works fine on each genre! And congrats for the new gear!

A fine composition and excellent job on guitar and drum programming! Well produced as well!

That vocal does sound good and fits with the backer very well. The melody is good, too. That never hurts.

Thanks chaps! When Kenny said he wanted to do a version of the tune this is based on (https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=26218.0), he said he wanted to lose the ascending key change into the chorus. I wasn't sure to be honest, but Kenny had a vision & it paid off big time. I'm incredibly proud to have worked on this tune with him! Thanks for sticking to your guns on this one, Kenny!
