Quote from: 64Guitars on April 05, 2017, 10:04:37 AMJust realised that this is a one-chord song so I've added it to the festival, though there was no icon to indicate that it was a festival submission. Please remember to add the festival submission icon whenever your song is being submitted for inclusion in a current festival. That icon is meant to serve as a flag to attract the attention of the admin team so we'll notice that we need to add the song to the festival. Otherwise, we could easily overlook it.

Quote from: Redler on April 03, 2017, 10:27:40 PMI sent my backer to Päivi's sister and asked to write some lyrics and vox on it. Here we go... :D

Great song. How were Siru's parts recorded? I mean, does she have her own recording equipment and she just sent you her finished tracks for mixing, or did she come to your house to record her parts? Or did Siru do the mixing and then sent you the finished recording?

I didn't add the festival icon, because I remember that each member of a collab should be a songcrafter...I'm not sure...anyway, we warmly recommend her to join in Songcrafters :D

In fact, the original backer was six minutes long and we asked Siru write lyrics on it, either in English or in Finnish. She did it in English and we (me and Päivi) did it in Finnish.

Siru used Magix software on her recording and "cheap" microphone that caused a bit hiss (I didn't hear any hiss ;D ). She sent wavs to me and I mixed tracks on Audacity.

Oops! My mistake. You're quite right that the festivals are only for members of Songcrafters. I didn't think of that when I saw your post. I just assumed that you forgot to add the festival submission icon. I'll leave the song in the festival for now in the hope that Siru will be joining soon. Please encourage her to do so. She has a great voice.

Stonking good track.  Love the intensity and brooding here.  Makes we want to see around this song's corner - what's hiding?

Yes! That´s my big sister! We needed something new to our music an so we asked Siru to do something to this tune. She is so musical and great singer. I like this "Man Tramp" a lot. Well, name is not pretty. :D  But beautiful song. Stunning vocals from Siru. ( my voice is little-bit too loud) And I just love Kari´s guitar playing here.  9{}

I like the feel of the song. I thought it was mixed well and arranged nicely. But for me the highlight was definitely the melody and vocals. They were excellent.
