This was done with my Kaossilator ipad app & 1 vocal track through the 3rd & 5th br80 vocal setting.
Just got to Orlando, taking the kids to Universal Studios tomorrow...Harry Potter World...they are excited. Probably my last post for a few days, rock on my friends.

With The Horizon
written & performed by Hook
There is a chair
And I know you would like to sit there
in the window
Gazing out upon the landscape
Becoming one with the horizon

There is a chair
To help support your tired soul
A window to explore
The landscape that unfolds
Becoming one with the horizon

There is a chair
Crafted by a master
Reflection like a window
Grains lime paths cutting through the landscape
Becoming one with the horizon

I really thought. The one chord fest would be a flop, but some really imaginative stuff coming out. Braw bro.

The BBC are currently repeating old episodes of Top Of the Pops from the early '80s & this could be straight from one of those shows... I picture a group of earnest looking young men, dressed in black with floppy fringes. They're all stood behind keyboards & there's a computer monitor & reel-to-reel tape machine on stage to add to the "futuristic" vibe. Brilliant pastiche of that era, mate. Genius!

I have to say this is brilliant Hook.

You are a one off, original, super stuff. There are shades of King Crimson and Frank Zappa, but only shades. The main driving force is that great unpredictable Hook sound.

I really like the almost 8-chip sound and feel. And the chorus? effect on the vocal works really well. Not overbearing but gives it a depth. And I like that lyric, too. You start and end each verse with the same lines but the innards are unique. It's a cool tool that works really well.
