Bruce - its a kit, so you purchase the electronic components and its out with the soldering iron I'm afraid. So Paul built it for himself, he want to have a play and then stick it eBay - he gave me first dibs on it :-) I wasn't 100% on it, but it has some extreme and unusual sounds, so you have to coax them out. Its quite noisy though, down to the design - but very unique at the same time. All in all quite cool.
I do have a lot of effects pedals tho ...... I can help myself

Yes - I thought I had commented on this one too but apparently not.  So I will now.  Has a great Bond-theme time vibe to it.  Great mix. 

As to the inversion question - my view (for what it is worth) is that it is fine.  Mind you I would say that.  If it wasn't acceptable, both my submissions for this fest would have been struck off also!  To misquote the great Eric Morcambe "I am playing all the right notes.  Just not necessarily in the right order."
