i originally started this with the one chord fest in mind, but i used at least 2 chords methinks.

i had the epiphone bass out and had a little riff going, couldn't be bothered to create a new drum track so stole the drums from an older song. played this bass riff, then recorded a different bass riff over the top of it. both bass tracks where recorded dry with no effects.

i then dug out my woolies strat, plugged that into my irighd2 and that into the line in on my br800. recorded the main rhythm guitar track in stereo , then two separate rhythm guitar tracks in mono, one panned full left the other full right. then recorded vocals to a stereo track, using my microbr as a mic, with fornylon effect with tap delay turned on. i then recorded the one chord i had intended to use (Dm) on my juno di, i held the chord throughout to add ambience and in last verse double it with another Dm but an octave up. then i got the strat out for my crappy lead parts again recorded to a stereo tack, if anyone wants to replace those parts let me know and i'll send you a mix minus lead guitar.

all mixed with headphones, could probably do with a remix using monitors.

it is what it is.

Another soft machine
A brand new way to feel
Pretend your in control
But there's another at the wheel
Don't know what you don't know
You're caught up in the flow
Oh ignorance is bliss
As innocent as snow

They're pouring through your data
Streaming all your thoughts
They know you
Better than you'd ever know yourself
They push your buttons
As you push yours
Fashioning a new you
To meet their righteous end

So who do you believe
Is telling you the truth
Is there anybody out there
That can put you in the picture
I'm not at all confused
I'm just a doubting Thomas
A cynic through and through
I wish i could believe like you

Man you define creativity.  As always, I love your lyrics.

Great job pulling all these parts together like they were born for each other.

Good one!

Let it be known, there is a fountain, that was not made, by the hands of men.

And so a PJ Harvey is in my soul at the minute timings. 2 chords is good haven. I'm not lying. For Gringo has found light. Gringo twitches. Gringo has undeniable ketchup.
