I'm sorry 'bout that Mike .... I'll try to post something more tranquilizing next time  ::)
QuoteSuperb production. Thanks Geir. It does sound very Johnny Cash. :D
Thank you!!!  ... it's probably one of my best productions, except from the slightly distorted solo and it's certainly the one I've spent most time on!

Thank you for all your kind remarks and Cash/Knopfler/Rea comparisons !!!

And don't worry Nigel, I've never had, nor will I ever get a mullet ;D
Dreadlocks on the other hand ...... ( hmmm come to think of it ... I haven't posted any reggae have I   8))

You defintely have the mbr figured out. I like the way you pan your guitars. Makes it sound like the music is coming from everywhere.  I think I need a surround sound hooked up to my computer. That would be awesome.  Loved this song.  Yup you got your own fan club going.

Wait a minute!!!!!!! Have you guys ever heard of a little band called Sublime...Huge in the states..... from Longbeach, CA.  Their frontman tragically passed away~ Surprise, drug overdose.  They do this song on their acoustic album...well he goes into it within a different song.  I've never heard the original.  Love this production, Geir...Your voice sounds mighty good down there. AWesome all round!! Good good work my friend!!

This is a song............ Only joking!

Seriously, this tune provided me with a moment of total escapism today.

Saw the post Earlier but didn't listen to it.... I Thought I'd save it for when I needed it....Knowing it would deliver!

Sure enough it did.....!

When things got a bit much, I was on that train going somewhere.......

Somewhere?...

WTF!...

I didn't care!

It took me somewhere else.....!

This is what music is about sometimes.........

This is why we do this......

This is why we visit this site, and share our soul's inner most workings!

A post represents a thousand spoken words, because of the expressiveness of tone.......

This is a song!

And a Song I like!

Thank you for the effort you spent, taking me.....A Stranger.....On your journey! ;D

I like where this train is going. All the way to groove central. Another fabulous, tight production and performance  :)

I know them. I had the album '40oz to Freedom' playing over and over at one stage. Their cover of 'I smoke three joints' is brilliant!

Man I haven't heard this tune in well over 10 maybe 15 years. I used to play it a lot, might have to dust it off. This Train however might just spark a whole new rail revolution in the States here, it's that good! I love your voice and it just works perfectly on this tune...err....train.
Rock on!
