When I first got my BR I hadn't written any new songs in a looooooooong time, but I wanted to test out the features, so I started out with this one. Made a few rough takes first and decided to make a more serious effort. It ended up being the most "complete" production I've done to date (don't seem to find time to put so much work in it nowadays). I have 4 acoustic guitars (2 very low in the mix) 2 electric rhythm gtr's bass lead guitar and vocals ..... Now the vox I would like to redo 'cause it was one of my first attempts at singing in many years, but .... well .... I've got enough projects for the time being!!!

I don't know why I suddenly remembered this song, I think the only version I've heard was by "The Alarm" some time in the 80's, but I can't remember how the arranged it. This arrangement just "happened" after fooling around with various drumpatterns and ending up with this country-pattern.

Everything is done on the BR except sound-effects added on the computer after the final mastering on the BR.

.... And yes ... there may be a resemblance to a certain other song I've posted here  :D

cheers

Now that is just superfine.  What a smokey vocal going on there, sounds like Mark Knopfler sorta.  Great layered guitars, really great reverby solo.  Nice one.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Very JC, very Geir, very cool. Just don't get a mullet like The Alarm.

Cheers,
