Hi Mark, I have a shure Mic, an Audio wireless Mic head fitted, but for my recordings I use my stereo Mic for my Mbr and for my BR800 I use. My Roland R05, it's a stereo recorder but I use it as a Mic through the line in on my 800,
It's also a brilliant recorder for acoustic and live recordings..

That still looks pretty organized, to me! You may need to get some more instruments before you reach the full mess stage...
