This one started life with me noodling around in front of the TV with my acoustic. I ended up playing a little riff based on that "Alright Now" open single finger A chord then changing it to a D with the 2nd & 3rd fingers. It kind of reminded me, a bit, of the intro to Jessica by The Allman Brothers so I tried to develop it into something similar.

When it was finished (as ever) I then had to think of what to call it. Well, if I'm going with The Allman Brothers idea of using a girls name which starts with "J", then there's only one choice... so I called it Jacqueline after the missus. Oh Boy, I AM in the good books!

As always...

Cakewalk SI Drums
No name bass (through the Vox Tonelab)
HB acoustic (recorded with a Samson Go-Mic)
Tele (through the Tonelab)

Then a quick wash through LANDR

Never hurts to get a few Brownie points with the other half and what a fine piece of music to be named after (or vice versa) well you know what I mean. Excellent as always.   Willie

Great melody and a perfect guitar tone for this song. I can hear a bit of Allman Bros. influence in there. Nice tune and playing John.

Brilliant, just brilliant Johnny!!

I'm just wondering your skills and creativity! Almost four minute solo and on it there's "something new" all the time! Fantastic playing technically and warm feel on same time! Enjoyable listening!

Ah lovely Johnny, yes a big thumbs up from me. Anything that hints at a bit of the Allman brothers is always very welcome. Lovely guitar sound you are getting especially that jangly opening riff. Super soloing and I your own style shines through nicely on those solos. Nice!!
