Bump for David Roback, whose version of this song on the 'Rainy Day' compilation inspired this cover - I just read that he passed away at the age of 61.

Thanks for the bump cuthbert! I missed this song the first time but it sounds so good. So does the neck pickup of the Rick and your vocal. I remember the original by Buffalo Springfield but not the version by David Roback (RIP David). Well done!

I also missed this. Very nice work indeed, as you say, not what you usually expect from a Rickenbacker. Very mellow rendition and a nice, immediate live feel to it. Very enjoyable.

Beautiful bit of work Cuthbert... so glad I checked this out. The guitar sounds wonderful, and looks beautiful too. Your vocals match up with the guitar sound brilliantly. Some of those guitar parts remind a bit of one or two of the Smiths slower numbers. Fantastic.
