Bravo!

I'm a big fan of João and Astrud Gilberto, and your cover captures the feel of the original very well. I was almost expecting Stan Getz to show up. ;)

The rhythm guitar is very Bossa Nova-style (wish I could play like that), and I dig the charango and your vocals.

A really refreshing take on a classic. This has a Gypsy Kings vibe to it - love the instrumentation & overall chilled out feel you convey here. Brilliant!

This is great. You're playing, the percussion your vocal, the production...everything on this is quite impressive the way you approached it. The Charango has a unique sound.

Second Bump for the Joao Gilbert memory

this song is certainly the more known
Gilberto is considered as the father of bossa nova, it should be noted however that as Desafinado the authors/composers are Vinicius de Moraes and Antonio Carlos Jobin

The album Um encontro no Au bon gourmet (Doxy Records, 2015) contains the very first sound recording of this song (1962), sung twice and in unison by João Gilberto, Antônio Carlos Jobim and Vinícius de Moraes.

Nice bump JP. When I first heard this it was a cold January day in England. Today its a nice summer afternoon sat in the garden with a verre de rouge. So the song is a perfect accompliment!
