Metronome ticks...

I think I have read someone referring to this but now I can't find it anywhere:
Does anyone know a workaround way to get the metronome to sound clicks only for each beat... instead of that *ding* on the first beat?

thanks for any help

Yes, not possible. You can try to find a pattern that is close to that, for example one that is rhythmically more relevant for you than the metronome. I've found that sometimes, rock patterns work better to keep the tempo.

Okay, thanks.
Then I won't worry about that anymore.

Thank you, sir.   ;)
All of that stuff predates the BR. The BR is so handy for doing little sketches... but I've got a project started now that will be all tracked on the BR. So hope to get something up on that before too long....

I'll be sure and check out your YouTube vids!

Hey there Hoop
Enjoyed your stuff-well crafted
On "Love, Space and Time" the reversed sounds in the accompaniment
really caught my attention-Did you use a reverse wave edit in Sonar or a processor to achieve this sound? (If you don't mind me asking)
Was that a guitar? Very cool

Thanks and you got it exactly right- That's a one-string guitar riff, reversed the wav (Sonar calls that 'Retrograde') and looped it. As I recall, I did experiment and play and record the riff the about way I wanted it to sound played backwards, re-learned the riff that way and re-recorded it .... so that when played backwards it would come out 'right'.

A late answer but someone might be reading this still ...
the intro to one of the country-patterns is just 4 beats with closed hihat!! Much better than the annoying DING

cheers

Oh well ........

That's right, Geir. Pattern 265 is a two measure Country Intro. The first measure is four quarter note high-hat taps. You can program a RHYTHM ARRANGEMENT using just the first half of 265 by starting each subsequent step by one measure, (cutting off the second half of the pattern each time).
