Encouraged by my compadre, ORH (no grave accents on my keyboard), I am posting this new song by the guys from Jemima's Kite.

Have a listen and see what you think. Tim is on guitars and backing vocals, James singing his heart out and I'm stumbling around in the background with my bass.

Anyway, here is 'My beautiful Mistake'. I feel like 1960's Radio DJ.

Bro

This is amazing!

Sounding great, and there is something about the lead vocals and the guitars working with each other which is cool!

Love it! Great job!
If you loose track over a chord progression, play as fast as you possibly can. Nobody will know. Thats how they invented bebop.

Geir

This is such a pearl !!!!! A magnificent job from everyone involved!!!

It's catchy, great production, great playing, great singing, great lyrics!!!

And it's such a beautiful melody!!!!! And the "powerful fragility" (in lack of a better expression) in the voice really makes it impossible not to love this song.

You guys have produced so many wonderful songs, ( I listen to at least one of your songs daily ), and this is may be the best !! (ok there may be others that are tighter played or "better" produced or more "interesting/complex", but this is such a "warm", lovely, catchy ..... I could go on and on ....

Did I mention all the details in the arrangement? .. no? ... well ... They're just there!! where they should be!!! and only great musicians like you would know where to put !!!!!

Conclusion:
LOVE IT !!!

already on iPod and cellphone!!

cheers geir, we went for the fragility on this one we didn't want to polish it up too much in case it lost something.

A wise decision :)
I really love this one just the way it is, and that makes it a great production in my book !!
