I had this Three Dog Night cover sitting on the shelf since last Summer and decided to polish it up this week. Always dug it, kind of a nonsense song but fun. Tried to build the intensity as it went along.

Thanks everybody!

Jahia, yes, I performed all of the instruments, which is a lot of fun. It's part of my ongoing acoustic project, and it's great to learn so much about each song and instrument when you peel back each layer and then reassemble them.

"Never Been to Spain" was written by Hoyt Axton, and covered by just about anyone with big booming voice - Elvis, Cher, Tom Jones, Tina Turner, Chris Robinson, Waylon Jennings.

Held my attention to the last.

Great recording and performing.

''Peel back each layer and then reassemble'' Well said. I never realized all these Artist have covered this song I only know the Three Dog Night version and you have done a great job on yours. Nice sounds how all your instruments intertwine.

We have to make a point to get together this Wanee. Maybe I can get Lurker up there for a Wednesday night jam.

Loved this to death.
