Here's another song that I finished today, Heart Attack and Vine by the lengendary Tom Waits.
I gotta say that this is quite likely the heaviest rocking tune that I have posted on this site.

I hope you enjoy, I really had a blast making this one.

Thanks both Regs, I'm actually really happy with this one.
I can't stop playing it, and I think it sounds good really loud.
At first I wasn't too convinced with that weird harmonised solo in the middle, but it's really starting to grow on me.
I'm also pretty stoked with the guitar parts on the outro as well.

This is definitely one of the heavier songs I've recorded for a while.

Quite different from the original... but still capturing the spirit. I love the treatment you've given to this, ballsy an heavy which suits the lyric. This song contains one of my favourite ever lines: "Don't you know there ain't no devil, there's just god when he's drunk" :)

Hell yeah.
And he's a mean drunk, with a wicked sense of humour. By most accounts.

Tom Waits has some killer lines.

Nice one. In my head this has a strong Dr Feelgood vibe, which is a good thing
