Thank you 64 guitar to have merged this version with the one of 2017, it's a good idea...and as, deprived of voice because of surgery (the endo tracheal intubation is a horror for a singer, even if it is amateur and not very good) I decided to remix, to remaster some of my best publication (at least the one that I prefer) while waiting for a better physical condition
I'll let you know in the future all my remixed/remastered versions...so you can do the same thing

It is lovely.  Great playing.  While you may be "starting from zero" with your digital files, you are not really because you have all the talent built into your spirit and fingers!  I'm curious - how did you first decide to move from a "regular" 6 string guitar to the Weissenborn?

Ah I love this question!
...it goes back to...40 years ago! ???I was a young man passionate about guitar and Anglo-Saxon music, and, at that time, it was the time of the "folk revival", and we discovered in France, among other things, bluegrass music. .the bands specialized in this music were flourishing in France, and I remember very well the moment when I saw and heard a bluegrass band (French!:named Buegrass connection *) in a small club (Cavern style in Liverpool)

I was two meters away from the musicians and there I discovered two very interesting things

- the DOBRO, with this so particular sound and this play with a tone bar
- this way that the bluegrass musicians had to put themselves in front of the microphone at each solo intervention: there were less microphones on stage and especially absolutely no sound system for the mixing in live

* listen to this french band "The Blue Grass Connection" which had a really good level
