I just got around to hearing this and I gotta say, it's pretty cool.
A lot of atmospheric soundtrack like qualities to it.
I particularly like the "Iron Man" style guitar parts on the intro, just twisting and winding in and out of tune with each other, creating a real sense of tension.
Definitely a horror movie soundtrack, reminds me a bit of some of those cool Argento movies of the early 80's.

Brilliant stuff, chaps.  I am quite partial to a bit of prog and this is great stuff. Some sections are scary as hell and then you bring us back down with a pastoral-feel section.  Absolutely marvelous.

I appreciate all the great comments.  Keith is really getting a kick out of reading the response to his song.  It has inspired him to get another one done.  As for the references.......King Crimson, Black Sabbath, and Van Der Graaf Generator........well, thats pretty funny.  He was listening to a lot of King Crimson around this time, and he did a bit of a Black Sabbath listening stint as well, so I guess that stuff seeped in.  As for VDGG, I said that it reminded me of VDGG in parts, especially some of the vocals.....funny, he has never listened to any VDGG.  Something else for Keith to check out.    I agree, if he can come up with something like this at 14, hot damn, look out world.  Thanks for having a listen everyone.

Hola, Dave ~ it has been a while - came across this post, and after listening to the song, well, had to download it.  This could actually be a complete suite ~ or used in movies.  Sure hope your son keeps pursuing music - very creative.   this song needs a bump.  Hope all is well with you and yours ~ abrazos
