Just heard about this from the missus who saw it on Facebook. So sad... 2016 has been a brutal year. I grew up listening to the Quo and yet again it's as if a part of my adolescence has died.

R.I.P. Rick... you & your band gave me countless hours of headbanging pleasure over the years.

Damn. Another one. Quo, despite all their criticism, where a great good time rock n roll band - and you couldn't help but boogie on down to their music, with a big, big smile.
Saw Rick come on stage playing with the Jackie Lynton band at the Marquee i London in my youth- he clearly loved to play just for the hell of it!

My stepbrother was a huge Quo fan in the Seventies, but once I got over that I started to see their merits. The only time I saw them live was on the same day we moved in to our house in 2001. They were great live. It's a huge shock that Rick is dead. I will miss the Quo.
