YuleFest (banner image missing)

After a bit of a forced sabbatical, I'm back in the groove (for now, at least). Most of you chaps know that things have been pretty tough for me & Mrs Robbo lately & I would like to thank everyone who's been in touch to say hello & wish us well.

Anyway... to the music: this is my version of a traditional Carol that Mike Oldfield had a hit with in 1975. All the usual suspects...

Harley Benton acoustic (double tracked & panned L/R)
Tele rhythm guitar (double tracked & panned L/R)
Tele lead guitar
HB LP copy (solo)
Cakewalk SI drums
No-name bass

Thanks for listening chaps & Merry Christmas to all my SC family!

Great to hear from you again Johnny R, and what a great cover of this classic. You should upload the MP3 so it can go in the Yulefest.

Hope everything's returning to normal for you and your family.

Brilliant John, Brilliant, Great to have you back, and all the very best to you and your family,
I was thinking where I remembered this song from,
Stan Boardman a brilliant Liverpool comedian had a 3 guys on his show ,They were all naked except for a balloon in each hand and as this music played they used to move their hands about covering each others bits with a ballon.
Anyway back to the recording, Well done it's a keeper.....
