Try as we might, we can't work out how to create Drum arrangements on the MBR, or at all for that matter.......

As a result, we have had to record a lot of our stuff live (with the Scottish drummer) if we want drums on the track.

This one is called "Wasted"........

It's supposed to represent experiencing something to excess, and having just that little bit more than you can handle, to send you over the edge and spoil whatever you were doing.....

The Evil Mrs Osckilo said that she would expect this kind of stuff to be played in a seedy Russian Brothel.

As a result, one of the names we came up with originally  "Suicidal Clown enters Russian whore house"

It's hardly easy listening, but it is what it is.

There is a fragile beauty at work here.  It is almost spooky sounding.  It is almost off the rails at parts but it just holds itself together.  I can hear a Thom Yorke radiohead style vocal over this.  The MBR drums are not really complicated once you have done it once or twice.  There are some good how-to posts on here that got me started.

I agree with Bluesberry, a little spooky sounding.  At first almost Arabic.  I think it is very unique.  I liked it.  I've got it now a haunted merry go round, going round & round.

"Suicidal Clown enters Russian whore house" .... why oh why didn't you call it that?! I LOVE that title!

The music makes me think that the suicidal clown arrived at the whore house to find it closed, and this is the soundtrack of him walking away in disappointment and self-loathing  :D

I really like this. It's strangeness is it's virtue. Unique, disturbing and yet hypnotic.

Top work!   :)

I'd have to agree with Tim on this!!!

and I also visualized that disappointed clown stumbling (wasted) away from the aforementioned house, tripping over all kind of carnival wires and gear .....

Thanks for the responses all. ;D

The off the rails feel is exactly what we were after.....
We were trying to recreate that sort of intoxicated stumbling, where you just manage to stop yourself falling, fix up slightly and then trip again.

"Suicidal Clown in Russian Whore house" it is then!

Thanks Tim, Gier

This was just what we were trying to do! A short intro before the intoxicated clown enters the knocking shop of doom.....

In our minds, the Clown entered, and found it equally disappointing, and scary...
Painted ladies laughing at him, Stumbling over stuff, his head spinning and so on...
(why does this seem like a familiar situation to us?!)

We prefer your interpretation though. The sense of irony works better.

The drums were Live because we cant work out how to get the drum patterns to fit into our work.

Guys like Tim, Gier, Jim1970, Bluesberry and so on, amaze us at how tight they get it when they produce thier stuff.

We recorded the tune live with the Sony condencer Mic.

Thanks Bluesberry!

The Evil Mrs Osckilo said "Real fragile! Think it's Broken!"

Forgot to cut the talk of end of the track. She wasn't too happy hearing our plan.

As ever, Thanks for the feedback.

Glad you liked it!
