My Tascam DP32SD's card has no markings on it to indicate what size it is. I can't find anything on the screen display or in the manual that tells how to see what size and how much space/time is remaining.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks,

I believe the remaining time in hours and minutes is shown on the main display:

(from page 21 of the GP-32SD manual)

Also, there is an Information screen (see page 61 of the DP-32SD manual) which shows the total size of the card and the space remaining.

Another way to find the size of the card would be to put it into an SD card reader attached to your computer, then right-click on the drive icon and select Properties.

Thanks 64G, I think I looked right at that and missed it...over-tired looking at a manual...I have an SD reader on my laptop, didn't think of that either. Thanks so much you're the best.

I think you've found it ;D

No seriously.

You've found the next best thing .... well strike that ... you've found a better thing !!!

I don't think you'll find a more active and helpful community than this place !

There's a LOT of BR-users here. Many of us have owned and (ab)used several (MicroBR, BR800 and MicroBR80 in my case) and our brilliant admin 64Guitars can answer the most intricate questions !!

Geir beat me to the punch. So ditto what he said.

Although this site has no affiliations to Boss. It started as a forum for Micro BR users many years ago and has exponentially developed to include users of newer and older BR models but also users of other standalone recorders and DAWs too.
